Hockey Sushi - Peterborough

We mainly order rolls for take-out and have only eaten in once if twice, but we have been thrilled with the service and food every time! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating when ordering on the phone, food is always ready when they say it will be, lots of variety, presentation is great, food is right temperature and delicious!! We also find the rolls to be very reasonable priced - one of our favourite places to go for a treat.

A little on the pricey side for the all you can eat option, but ordering was convenient and the food was pretty good, except for some weird options.

Went for lunch and it was quite full, but the service was fantastic. We were seated and shown the iPad ordering system, placed our order, had our drinks and miso soup within 5 minutes. We ordered spicy salmon and spicy tuna maki. I was surprised they were tasty and had a nice crunchy consistency. I don't like my maki mushy. We also had chicken katsu, breaded scallops and a spicy salmon pizza. All were quite good. I think we were in and out in half an hour, which was perfect for us.

Instant ordering via tablet is a pretty neat thing to try. The food came quick and fresh, although when the food didn't look like the pictures we had to ask a couple times what it was. The range in food options was great, including unusual and interesting. At $25 a head it was pricier than other Chinese buffets, but was fresher, more options and tastier. Wait staff were not overly friendly and dropped food and ran, but the manager was super friendly and since ordering is electronic that was fine.

Kind of a neat place. You choose what you want to eat by pressing on an I pad. As you submit your order it arrives at the table. Be sure to only order what you are prepared to eat because there's a charge for wasting food. But you won't want to waste a bite of this lovely lunch/dinner. Down side is most of the staff do not speak English as their first language so they didn't understand it when I thanked them but the quality and presentation of the food is truly awesome.
