Wimpy - Peterborough

After we came past our days to peterborough many paintings in the last few years, we decided to bite the ball and have a whimpy for the old times. the place was clean and the staff was great and it was quite full. we had both burgers and one side of the chicken strips to share. the food was freshly cooked to order, and the rolls were roasted, which was a nice note. the minus points for me were the actual quality of the burgers, they had no steak or bark taste and did not come close to mcdonald’s or burger king. if whimpy can have a better quality of burger, then this would be a place where they would go regularly instead of just once every few years for a nostalgic experience.

I love going for a Wimpy with my mum. She always has a Wimpy and chips and I get the Vegan Burger and chips. Pot of tea or a diet coke. The service is impeccable. We are seated quickly. We always know what we want so we order straight away and within 5 minutes IF THAT! we get our food. Fresh and piping hot. They have facilities at the back of the restaurant. No complaints from us. Love a good Wimpy!!

First time back here since the lockdowns, so a number of years, and it hasn't changed at all. They still have their distinctive, delicious burgers and great service. Very happy to still see the place here. I'll always visit Wimpy whenever I'm in Peterborough
