Parrott's Fisha Nd Chip Shop

I stopped by this restaurant for lunch today and was served by a friendly and efficient guy. Despite being at the back of the queue, he quickly served me a delicious fish special and even took the time to ask how my day was going. The service was excellent.

The wait for food was horrendous, not one person in the shop. Even after waiting the haddock was just about edible, the battered sausage was okay but the chips were the greasiest chips I have ever tasted, absolutely soaked in grease.. If you want a quick heart attack then this is the place to go..

A family get together for a birthday, and they did us proud! 7 of us with a wide variety of orders and it was all good and hot. My fish was lovely, crisp batter and no grease. Piping hot, perfectly cooked chips and I just love their homemade mushy peas. All round it was excellent!

We frequently visit Parrotts and always enjoy their delicious fish with light and crispy batter. Our only complaint is that the portion size of the chips is too large for us. The curry sauce is outstanding and unlike any other we have tasted. The staff are always polite and efficient.

The food was outstanding. This is the best fish I have had in a while - the batter is light and crispy. The staff are also very friendly and pleasant. This is now our preferred fish and chip shop.
