The soup special was bean and bacon, which I wouldn't normally like, and it was outstanding. Savoury crepes were flavourful and the sweet crepes were devoured. Strongly recommended.
I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But considering I've travelled to other continents (quebec doesnt count haha) to bask in the glory that is the crepe I would not be an honest person if I said that the experience here was anything short of subpar. Not at best. Because the presence FOH donnes is anything but hospitable.. the feature specialty is a pancake the french forgot about. The love and passion in the design menu is absent. 2 stars for the drizzle I tasted genuine truffle.
Met a soccer teamate who lives in Idaho US and another soccer friend. I like the creperie because it feels safe. The seats are a good distance from each other. The crep was tasty. It had chicken, brie, asparagus and apricot chutney. The salad was fresh. Service was excellent. The servings are large. My friend is GF. Great buckwheat crepes! Atmosphere is relaxing and chique.
Amazing food, better prices than any other local food trucks and fast and efficient staff.
To start it was cash only which required us to leave go to the bank and come back even before ordering which was quite inconvenient as we had to go all the way to the other side of Petawawa. We had already came from Pembroke to try this place, we don’t carry cash and there was nothing on Google indicating that it was cash only. Then we placed our order. I found that the fact we had to pay 4.00 more on top of an already 9.00 chips/fries menu was a little ridiculous but whatever we wanted to try something different. 30 minutes went by after ordering and we still did not have our Not-yo (or however it’s spelt fry; which is all we ordered). In total it took almost 40 minutes to get our order and it wasn’t overly busy; maybe four people in front of us. Now for the food. The fries were cute and very thin which worked as they cooked nicely; crispy and not burnt. The topping of tomato’s and green onions was quite a lot. The ground beef was very stringy and didn’t have much flavour to it. The fries were nicely seasoned but we found that there was no where near enough sauce and found a good portion of it was very dry. Portion size for a large was very respectable (my husband and I shared the large and we were comfortably full) and the serving staff was very friendly when they finally did take our order however did seem slightly overwhelmed and unorganized. We did note that a few of the peoples order prior to us had mistakes made and others were being served before others who arrived first which clearly irritated people. Area outside was clean and well maintained. Update: both me and my spouse got really sick after eating here. We both got salmonella poisoning which resulted in wickedly bad stomach cramps, extremely fatigue, flu like symptoms and green… well you know. Won’t be going back here.
