Kinka Sushi - Petaluma

We waited in the restaurant for an hour without receiving any drinks or food, despite requesting water multiple times. We decided to leave after waiting for our drink order and dinner without any sign of them arriving.

The sushi, sake, miso, and seaweed salad were excellent. The service was perfect as well. I would definitely go back again.

The restaurant was bustling the day after Christmas. I started with the miso soup, followed by the live scallop sashimi and a five-piece nigiri selection chosen by Chef Alex. It was fantastic!

We were in Petaluma for a lacrosse tournament and we have a tradition to eat sushi on Friday nights. I did a quick google search and came to Kinka because it had 4 stars and was close to the Sheraton. The fish was super fresh and tasty. We sat at the bar and some good conversation with the chef who was preparing our sushi. I got the tuna sashimi and my daughter got the rainbow roll. We also ordered goyza and miso soup. Was very yummy. The fish is flown in from Japan.

After an hour in the restaurant, we still had only water in front of us which we had to request several times. Neither our drink order or dinner had arrived after we got up and left after that hour
