Central Market - Petaluma

First time going there last night. Absolutely pleased with the atmosphere. Convivial warm, friendly service. Food is spot on, fresh, tasty, unpretentious (a big compliment in my book). Lamg risotto rich and earthy, fettuccine fresh and springy, and areally pleasing petite sirah from Whipsmart. We will be back! With friends!

Great food and great service. This is our go to restaurant for celebrating an event. The short ribs were delicious. Perfectly cooked with no gristle or chunks of fat. The celery and avocado salad was inspired. Clever combination with a cilantro vinaigrette. And the bittersweet chocolate sorbet was to die for.

The variety of food at Central Market is wide and so delicious! The cabbage rolls with lamb are unbelievably delicious. We also enjoyed the crudo, and beef skewers to start. Dinner was beyond words. Between the pork chops, short ribs and the papperdelle bolognese for us all we shared and were amazed at how everything as so mouthwatering and savory! We highly recommend Central Market not only for the food but the ambiance. We love to sit in the corner window. It's quiet, rather private and people watching is so fun!

Been here a dozen times and have had some great meals. Tonight, however, I ordered the pasta w shrimp for main and it was served on a very very hot plate, which continues to cook the shrimps and made them rubbery and inedible. Only managed to have only half. However, they made up by not charging for the pasta as well as offering a complementary dessert, and the chocolate tart was amazing! The server was attentive and friendly. I know their ingredients are always fresh and it’s always a good vibe.
