They always have nice large bubbles in their crust and their toppings go almost to the edge. Be sure to get the cheese all the way to the edge so it chars just a little. Be sure to request that they dry the mushrooms well. This location is better than N. McDowell: too pretentious, argues and disagrees when pizzas are not done right, cut haphazardly, too skimpy on toppings, sometimes they don't sweep the ovens often enough and you get soot all over the bottom of the crust, and lastly, their pizza maker has the pizza larger than the box...they just cram it in and shut the lid. Order all you pizza's from E. Washington!!!!!!!!!
I think Mary 's needs to hire more employees. Food was great, just slow. We enjoyed having our luncheon there (Class of '66 PHS)....
The last time I was at this Mary's was a couple of years ago. I was with a family member that has since passed away. So, I was accompanied by a degree of sadness I had not felt for awhile. I ordered the spaghetti and giant meatball classic off the lunch menu. It came with with warm French bread and a delicious salad. The entire meal was wonderful. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I left the restaurant feeling much better than when I went in.
Marys is one of the best pizza spots in town.On the pricey side a large Mary's combo will cost you about $35 but the toppings are high quality and they don't skimp on them.
If you're visiting the area and aren't familiar with Mary's give it a try and you won't be disappointed!
