Grandi Cafe - PESSANO CON BORNAGO

We usually stop for breakfast and the products are delicious! So seeing the wood-fired oven we wanted to try the pizza for dinner: to say excellent is an understatement! The pizzas we chose were really good, fresh products and of excellent quality. We also had a dessert and it was obviously delicious. The environment is very calm and the staff welcoming. I really hope to return soon to enjoy pizza as I know it should, that is, as they know how to make it!

This is my review from 3 years ago never got around to posting it, I was taken to this Pizzeria when I was in Milan on a job related trip and I might be an American tourist and might not know better but this pizza I had was the best I ever tasted, The quality of the dough and the stuffed crust with cheese was the best and the desserts after is a must, I tried pizza in Rome which is very good too but this place was much better. When this pandemic is over and we are allowed to travel again I’m taking my family to Milan and passing by at Grandi Caffe Bar Pizzeria.

Simple non-alcoholic aperitif, composed of bicchierone zeppo ice, water more bitter syrup or raspberries or similar), slice of orange : € 7,00. I'm not going back!

1h waiting to serve us. They give precarious to all takeaways and not to those who sit (we were only 3 tables . No igienizing hands at the entrance (is it not mandatory with the Coronavirus? . Pizzaioli and manager with mask on the chin (then what do you need? . Not a minimum of apology or anything. Bad experience
