If you’re looking for a place with an amazing food, the variety of local wines and welcoming ambience then that’s the best choice. The quality of food is just outstanding. Moreover I have to admit that I’ve tried a lot of tiramisu in all around Italy and this is one of the best!

It was an unusual surprise to be treated so well by the staff. I'm not used to such friendly service in Italy, so it caught me off guard! The salads, crostone and pasta we're absolutely fantastic, however the chicken was a little rubbery, but the spinach perfectly prepared. We tried one of each of the desserts, and loved them all. Of course the wines were excellent and they have a great selection of Scotch available. Whenever I'm back in Perugia I won't miss a meal here!

One of my favorite places in Perugia. Great selection of wines and knowledgeable staff. The menu is small but everything is delicious especially pasta which is always fresh. They have menu a la carte and always dishes of the say which I strongly recommend. Unbeatable atmosphere, and usually in Wednesday night they have live music. If you are in town for umbria jazz make sure you reserve a rake for their jazz concerts. Thus place is a must.

Up a small street off the main Piazza is this charming little wine bar/restaurant. Friendly informative staff and cozy, jazz influenced interior. A huge selection of wine and a small menu of delicious treats is available. There is an intimate seperate wine room which I’m sure would need booking well in advance if you had a group.

Wee were looking for late night drinks and food (about 10.30pm) after landing back in town after watching a local football match. Most places including this bar had closed their kitchens for the day but thankfully and very kindly they bought us out some toasted bread and olive oil. It was enough to take the edge of our hunger. There was a delightful Jazz band playing away in the corner and it had a very busy cultured crowd in the seats chatting and nodding away. The wine list was extensive and bottles started up from 20-1000 euros! We had wine by the glass from their board of recommendations and the whites we had were gorgeous coming in at €5 €7 a glass. But the stars of the show were the staff. Friendly, classy and apologetic that the kitchen had closed (not their fault at all) but there was one gentleman named Luigi who took particular care of us and we were so bowled over by his charm that we came for supper the following day. The food was sublime, the vibe top notch and the wine (my budget had increased as it was a farewell supper) was some of the best wine I have ever tasted. Easy to find as it's in the centre of town, I advise that you book in advance as this place gets very busy. Grazie millie to one and all at the fine restaurant.
