Tokyo Station - Perth

Great selections on the menu ranging from bento's to udon. Fresh tasting sushi with a cheap price. The place is so cute it looks like you're on a Tokyo sushi train ???? hence the name "Tokyo Station". Thanks, I'll be back for more!

Love this place actually, 50% off sushi in the evening makes the prices very reasonable. Quite a fan of the katsu chicken and the cooked tuna with cucumber sushis

Got take away from here last night. Chicken gyoza were okay. Chicken karaage curry bento $13.50 was a waste of money. Please see pic attached. It was burnt and tasted awful. Had to throw it away. Fish katsu curry was average and no flavour in curry. Total $29.50 not good value for money.

The sushi was a bit average. Nothing special, tasted like home made & too much rice- ordered fresh salmon, fresh tuna and mixed variety. Tuna mayo sushi was the highlight for me.

You can tell how good a sushi shop is by the crowds and Tokyo Station at lunchtime is like Heathrow. People everywhere, grabbing their sushi rolls or waiting for hot meals. Eating their food at the limited tables or having a picnic-style lunch at nearby Central Park. Yep, Tokyo Station is certainly a hit with the locals! They have a good range of gluten-free options and at $3.90 for a 4pc pack, they're pretty cheap too. All food is packed fresh each morning or made to order if you're finicky or just prefer your sushi fresh from the kitchen. We also tried a dessert that Tokyo Station markets as "Japanese cheesecake". It was delicious but is really only a simple lemon cheesecake mix poured into a pastry shell. Nothing I couldn't make at home but at $3/cake, it was a nice end to lunch on the run.
