The Sparrow's Nest East Victoria Park

I visited this restaurant for Mother's Day brunch with my family. The setting was cozy, although a bit noisy when they were using the juice blender. The food was excellent, but the standout item was the "dirty chai." It was the best I've ever had. I will definitely be returning soon for another one.

Despite the bustling crowd, I was impressed with the quick service from the cheerful staff. My food arrived promptly, and my coffee was piping hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, this morning we experienced very disappointing service at The Sparrows Nest. Despite ordering our food and coffees, it took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive, and the coffee was nowhere to be seen. After inquiring about the coffees, we were told they were on their way. However, after another 10 minutes and finishing our breakfast, we still had not been served our coffee. The staff member then informed us that he was prioritizing the takeaways and would get to our order last. It was frustrating to see him serve every customer who entered after us before attending to our coffee. Additionally, his response when questioned was disrespectful. Waiting 20 minutes for two coffees is unacceptable, and any skilled barista should be able to handle more than two orders at a time. It is disappointing that poor service and attitude have deterred us from returning anytime soon.

Becoming a bit of a regular. Nice atmosphere friendly staff. Eaten there a couple of times now and food is great. Will be back for more.

Great atmosphere, friendly welcoming staff excellent service. The coffee is the best in the EVP strip, but it's the staff that make it so enjoyable. Great location, easy access, dog bike friendly. Superb food, great menu. These guys rock, I'm a loyal regular.
