Tansawa Modern Japanese - Perth

Some of the best Japanese food I've ever had! It was incredibly fresh and light, yet still deeply satisfying. The wagyu gyoza and caramel miso pork belly practically melted in my mouth. I can't wait to go back for more!

This restaurant truly deserves recognition—it's a hidden gem! The owner is passionate and charming. As a Southern Kiwi lad, my tastes are fairly simple, but every dish and flavor here was perfection. I sampled a wide variety from the menu with my Japanese friend, and I was blown away by the beautiful, fresh flavors. There wasn’t a single dish I wouldn’t gladly eat again. I genuinely enjoyed my experience!

Wow, every dish was more incredible than the one before—it just kept getting better! We will definitely be returning! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fantastic Japanese cuisine and authentic service. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic food and service. The food was some of the highest quality (fresh and presentation) that I have tasted. The people are warm and friendly. For the price it is stealing! Really really impressed..., and will return! If only they did tonkatsu.... my favourite Japanese food!

Great taste, awesome presentation. Sashimi special very good, wagyu beef gyoza exceptional. Will come back next time in Perth. Very unassuming venue, really good food and service.
