We visited on a fairly quiet Tuesday afternoon. The actual beverages we had were good, and probably worth a 4/5. However, the service was poor ... largely due to understaffing. The waitress got the order wrong (which to be fair anyone can do), brought us the wrong drinks, toasted the banana bread (when we asked for it non toasted), forgot about the banana bread in the toaster ... and had to be reminded about the order (which was fortunate), otherwise the toasted bread (which we didn't order that way) may have started a fire!! In the end my conclusion was that if more staff had been present, it would have been more organised. So, at present, I would not recommend coming here ... particularly if you're in a hurry!
Noticed this establishment was doing a 2 for 1 deal on breakfasts one day and decided we would try it out another day.Having walked around Perth for a while we eventually found our way back here. Was well worth it as the breakfast deal could not be faulted. Extremely good basic food, good service, clean venue and very reasonable price on the deal.
We did not get the value for what we paid. We paid $17 for a burger but the quality was less than average and it was the smallest burger I have ever seen. My turkey sandwich had almost no turkey and was filled with salad.
This place is a franchise and opened more than a year ago and so far has not had many good reviews. I gave it 3 chances and they are "out" for me. The first time the coffee was not good, watery and tasteless, burnt. The lady who calls herself a "barista" is still there serving bad coffees to date. She becomes defensive and argumentative when approached and doesnt take criticism of her coffees too kindly. The staff are rude and slow. Unfortunately I am a coffee buff and refuse to pay for bad coffees. The food is as bad, ordered a cheesie and it took 40 minutes to arrive. Cant speak for the other food on offer. After asking it came still cold from being FROZEN. and was disgusting.Went again recently after shopping and the same story. My partner backed me up and they did not like it. He can be rude but is blatently honest. WAKE UP PERTH. you have a constant bad name for being sub standard in this area. I sometimes blame the public for not being more demanding and too accepting of rubbish.
