Mad Dog's Jungle Bar - Perth

Visited this place with my sister on a Wednesday night for the $1 wing special and as a wing connoisseur the "hot lime wings" were a stand out! My sis ordered "Mac commandments" they're mac&cheese croquettes served with this jalapeno sauce...different but surprisingly delicious worth ordering on the menu. To drink I ordered the "Young Henry" definitely was local craft beer as I was looking for something similar to the golden ale. I think this place is legit, pleasantly surprised of the decor and great tunes. Had best selection of local craft beer on tap in Perth. Will be coming back next week

Started coming to this place as it's down the road from my office, and now attend frequently for everything it has to offer. The mac and cheese balls are my favourite, but the other bites and burgers are awesome. The place has a laid back friendly atmosphere with perfect afternoon dining in the sun, or deep within the jungle if you're after some respite from the city. The kitchen is constantly adding specialty items to the menu that are always amazing, and I've never been able to fault the beers or the service. Ben is one of the nicest bar owners I know - constantly happy and keen to do the little things to make your day or week a bit better. Get him to swing on the rope...

Had an awesome meal here, the burger combo was good value with a decent burger and goos fries for $15. My partner got the chilli lime wings which were amazing! Deliciously sticky ans crispy! They also have an awesome variety of beers on tap for anyone who loves a craft brew.

This place is filled with a bunch full of disrespectful arrogant staff. Charging us $40 for a glass of old fashion where any other bars would charge $20, claiming that they put 2 shots in the drink. When asked to look at our order receipt, the bartender said he can't print a receipt and he was making it sounds so complicated to show us our receipt in any method. When we insisted for the receipt (who wouldn't want to check the receipt when they got charged $80 for 3beers, 1 vodka soda and 1 old fashion), the bartender got angry and looking like as if he is about to hit my husband. I wouldn't come back here again. We came on a friday night, the place was dead but the music was louder than any other bar.. you wouldn't even be able to chat with your mates. Their drinks taste horrible, the staff act like a thug, treat their customers like dogs and not to mention they called us a knob after putting a complaint on their facebook page. It would be a waste of money and time to come here. Go to stables, 5 minutes down the road-- the staff treats their customers with respect and they make better drinks. Updated review: We put a review on their facebook page and they replied terribly. There were more replies from them after that but unfortunately they deleted the comments before I got a chance to screenshot. (See image attached) They also called us a drama queen and gave us a quote "people who are not happy of themselves won't be happy of others" as a come back for our feedback to their bad service. They are the worst bar in perth, don't expect a sorry or any remorse from them when they don't treat you with respect inside or outside of the bar.
