All the staff were attentive and very friendly with excellent knowledge of food and beverage. By the end of the eight courses we were bursting at the seems. Lesley and clyde Have a wonderful restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend this place enough. We can’t wait to visit again and see what culinary delights are on the menu
My partner and I decided to take advantage of the scoopon available at friends where they currently advertise a 5 course truffle degustation. We were extremely excited going into this food experience as we love truffle and how the simplest of dishes can become quite sophisticated and complex. Throughout each of our 5 dishes we experienced little to no truffle. Given that truffle was to be highlighted we politely mentioned to the waitress that we could not taste truffle in most of the dishes. 2 minutes later we have the owner shaving truffle on our plates and belittling our opinion as it relates to truffle. My partner and I don’t claim to be truffle connoisseur’s but we do have...read more
Having been locked up from covid9 my wife and I booked our 30th wedding anniversary dinner to get out and about. Well I was absolutely satisfied 100% the service and the food was fantastic. Couldn’t find one flaw at all. Just a lovely place for dinner and great service. Will be back again definitely. Wine list is excellent. Not too big and not too small.

That’s probably why this restaurant is totally missing the mark for me: there’s nothing current about it. The food was weird. My barramundi fillet came with a crumb on top and was served with a purée of capsicum and some finely diced tomatoes. I ordered a side of spinach and mushrooms. It came baked with cheese! The freshly baked bread looked freshly baked and had 3 different flavours: they all tasted the same. You can tell the produces are fresh, and that the kitchen is professionally trained, but when...read more
This was our first visit to the new location on St George's Terrace. The new space is contemporary and interesting yet still retains the fine dining ambiance upstairs. I'm certainly looking forward to having a drink on the front terrace when the weather warms up as well as aspiring to not only a chef's table dinner but also a private room dinner which are both features of the new restaurant. We asked for recommendations from Clyde and Jessica from the menu and their suggestions were spot on. For our entree we chose seafood chowder and the scallops both of which were really flavoursome and very very fresh. I was feeling like something a bit different so went with the slow cooked...read more
