Przekaż informację zwrotnąOrdered a meal last night from Essence of India just before 6 in the evening off of the Menu log app the app told me it would be delivered between 7pm-7:20 after realising it was 7:30 and the app said it had been delivered and which it hadn't my partner called the restaurant to ask about the meals. The person that answered firstly argued saying it had been delivered already but after arguing with him for over a minute he said I'll call the driver and call you back then hung up on us. After another 20 minutes waiting for him to call us back we got frustrated and decided to make something else for dinner and then called him back to ask for a refund he then said that it had been made fresh and would be delivered once again and that the driver had already left and should be arriving in 5-10 minutes which it did not and that if we wanted a refund we would have to go through menu log website and then hung up on us again. My partner then drove to the store and asked for our money back and was told that he had confirmation that the fresh order had been delivered to our place just now and said he couldn't give us a refund without talking to his boss anyway. My partner rang me to see if it had been delivered which it hadn't. When my partner went to confront him after saying she was going to check with me if it had been delivered he already had the money to give her as he knew full well that no other order was sent he then lied and said it wasn't him that we spoke to on the phone despite sounding identical and arguing the same points that he had earlier on the phone said that he didn't hang up on us despite the fact that he did he basically lied to us and attempted to string us along until closing time from 7:30-9pm claiming that he had sent a new order out twice when he hadn't. Quit disappointed
Recently ordered takeaway via Menulog. We were missing several items and what was received was generally sub-par to other Indian eatery's we usually purchase from. I definitely wouldn't order from again.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff, including Raj, were very friendly. However, when it came time to pay the bill, Chef Raj, the owner, was unwilling to honor the 50% discount offered by The Fork. He insisted that we should claim the discount directly from The Fork, which we found unreasonable. Despite being loyal customers of The Fork for 10 years, we had never encountered this issue before. Eventually, Chef Raj agreed to give us a 40% discount, but the whole situation of having to negotiate the discount with the owner was uncomfortable. We overheard him arguing with other Asian customers about the same issue, which definitely impacted our overall dining experience.

Beautiful customer service. Amazing food and the family deal is fantastic value! I highly recommend the lamb korma it is divine. This is the third time ordering from here and I just keep going back.
