Country Road Cafe - Perth

This little cafe is great for a healthy breakfast, although a little hard to find. Entry is off Wolf Lane. The fruit salad and muesli was huge, fresh and delicious!

A great spot right in the CBD for a catch up with friends or colleagues - on the odd occasion. The food feels fresh and creative, the service good and the ambiance reasonable. It is well located, but being in an old warehouse courtyard there is no view at all, though this does insulate diners from the city traffic noise, street smokers etc. which also works well on hot days as it is cooled by being in the shade.This is another spot I'd recommend for a chat in the city but, that said, you would be well advised to keep to either side of the weekday lunch rush as it is too noisy to have a casual conversation when the place is full, especially inside. My downfall is having to walk past the CR clothing specials on the way in and out. . .Note on the photos - as I sometimes follow my own advice, I took these at just before the lunchtime rush so it looks empty. But look closer and you can see about half the number of tables are reserved and most were full by the time we left. It is rightly a popular spot.

Popped in for a quick business lunch, had the risotto with artichoke and pumpkin, the driest stodgiest microwaved most flavourless mess I've seen in a while. Couldn't eat it, decided to go for a banana and mango smoothie instead - blended juice and ice arrives. Not good, and the uneaten risotto was removed without question.Ive been here before and had better memories, not sure if I ordered poorly this time but there doesn't seem to be a whole heap of care going on here at the moment.

Nice courtyard cafe behind country road shop, hidden and no signage. Lovely quiet setting, prompt service and great veg selection.

Menu choices are really healthy and servings are large. I really like the different menu options. The cafe fills quickly on some days but tables tend to free up fairly quickly. The dining area located in the open section is light and bright and very uplifting. Food tastes good and the prices are great.
