Aqua Bar - Perth

We had a family gathering here. Tapas food to share. Good variety and reasonably priced drinks. Seating in a large square was good.

Stafff were very friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions. Had a lovely cup of tea overlooking the Swan River. Great location and good value for money

Visited this establishment yesterday, doors open so we made our way in. To be told they didn't open until 12 noon, wasn't a problem with us as it was only 10 mins to go and their menu did appeal to us. We did ask if we could take a seat, to a sharp reply "no" as they were still setting up. Looking around all tables were set with the essentials for any guest to take a seat. Decided to go next door and spend our $100. Checking this restaurant out when we had finished our meal next door, to find they only had three full tables. The staff member who greeted us, need to be reminded who pays her wages and how important it is to make everyone feel welcome, even if it is 10 mins early. We are interstate visitors and these types of experiences do stick in ones mind.

Had some shared plates in here tonight. service was excellent as was the food. Beautiful view although the tables by the river were reserved but still really nice view. Quite expensive but worth it. Really enjoyed this place.

After sitting downstairs for a while at The Lucky Shag, made our way upstairs to see what Aqua Bar was like.The view of the River and South Perth was like a picture book and definitely worth checking out.Cocktails were strong but nice, and there was always someone close by for a top up, or new drink order.Tried the Pork 3 ways, different and delicious, however Hubby was not a fan of the Polenta chips. Beautifully presented tapas kind of bar, as well a little up market, which is nice to see in Perth
