My partner and I had a truly wonderful Sunday lunch and each dish (cheese souffle, John Dory and blueberry pana cotta) worthy of 10 out of 10. scores. My only concern is that the 25% increase in the price may deter future customers.
What is it about a traditional, class, hotel with pristine white table cloths and attentive staff? It's reassurance that they care about keeping customers happy and in the zone of quality they expect. This hotel is isolated but provides all the comforts of home (and more). My meal was a delicious veloute followed by rump of beef to-die-for and then the wonderfully light but awesome sticky toffee pudding. A glass of pinot noir added to the experience. Sunday lunch was a treat, followed by coffee and the Sunday papers before a postprandial stroll in the grounds. A welcome return to dependable excellence.
By all standards the Kinloch House, lives up to the highest possible. We had a passing visit just for the set lunch. From the friendly, helpful and efficient staff, to the quality of all three courses and the most elegant ambiance, the whole experience was a delight. Yes we were almost on our own, all the better for us to enjoy all this fine Hotel Restaurant has to offer Well done to all concerned
Checked in here after doing a Land Rover experience, the hotel is perfectly situated and easy to get to. The staff where friendly, polite, and professional. The bar was comfortable and has a good range of drinks except beers on draft. The food could not be faulted and was thoughroly enjoy by both of us. The room was clean and comfortable allbeit a bit to warm through the night. All in all a very nice stay, and would use again.
New menu for dinner every evening. Fine dining. Lots of game and local seafood. A wonderful treat. Will return.
