V's Taproom - Peoria

Restaurant should not be using yelp waitlist since they can't meet the times. We waited 60 min after the committed time. Then 45 min for our food.

Although I live in Trilogy, my wife and I have had so many bad experiences at V's. With take out orders, they are duty bound to screw something. Even when my wife went inside to order, they failed to include the wine bottle she had purchased. Even though Trilogy has purchased the golf course and facilities (including V's). I do not believe there will be positive changes until we can get rid of Blue Star in the areas other than groundskeeping and managing the golf course. Of course, Shea signed a new contract with Blue Star, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shea so we're stuck with the current mismanagement for some time to come.

Food is good. Lots of variety and well prepared. Service is good and ambiance is good. All round excellence.

A nice establishment with great food and great service. Prices are moderately high, but not excessive. There were so many items on their incredible menu I would like to have tried, such as the Millionaire Burger or the Wild Mushroom Pizza. I settled on the Firecracker Shrimp Salad and was not disappointed. I'll definitely be heading back to V's Taproom in the near future.
