Lou's Drive-in - Peoria

Great little place. Try the Chili-Käsehunde or the Tylloine.

Food was great! Burgers are brilliant, loved the Chilli cheese dogs. The chilli, in my opinion, is a good thing. Root beer is phenomenal, super creamy and delicious! Only complaint was a little expensive. Pays $80 for just 4 of us to eat, but I guess you pay for quality and for that I won't complain, everything we ate was top notch!

Visited twice this year and both visits were bad. The root beer had a mildew taste. The hot dogs were tasteless (even a 5 years old would not eat it) and tasted again. The Cheeseburger Bungalow was dried out and the Burger was ready for WAY. Lou would be ashamed. We gave them two tries and hate to give up a long time treatment, but we didn't want to go back.

Root beer was syrupy with very little Fizz. Corn Dog and Fries (Mother says they taste like Steak and Schüttelfries earlier) were good! Hot tampals were good, but a little on the little side. The servers were nice and it was very pleasant to sit on the counter.

Excellent old school fast food stand. The service and food were excellent. Had a burger and fries and it was made to order. Friend had the hot dogs. You don't have to get chili dogs. They can do a more Chicago style if you want. The fries were hot, crisp and fresh
