Lakeside And Grill - Peoria

In most establishments that try to create that 'must-visit' vibe, you usually find the owner or manager engaging with guests to promote their restaurant. Unfortunately, Lakeside Bar and Grill fails to hit any of those marks. The food was unappetizing, lacking the quality one would expect, and the prices were quite steep. The restaurant would greatly benefit from revamping their menu—streamlining it and making better use of available ingredients. Additionally, many diners don’t enjoy tasting seafood, particularly fish, in dishes where it isn’t supposed to be present. It's also time for them to change their cooking oil. They could use a refresher on spices and seasonings, as I noticed a complete absence of salt in everything I sampled. To top it off, I received a stale top bun that was essentially inedible. I won’t be returning for obvious reasons, but I genuinely hope they can improve their offerings, as the place has a cozy atmosphere and potential.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and it happened to be the last Fish Friday of Lent. The ordering process was really straightforward. I substituted onion rings for the slaw without any issues, and that was a great choice—the rings were delicious! The fish dinner came with five generous pieces. The fish was fresh-tasting and juicy; I was full after just two and a half pieces. Although I'm not a big fan of French fries anymore, these were nicely seasoned. Unfortunately, they were cold, likely because it was takeout. Overall, I was very happy and satisfied with my meal. I would definitely recommend this place for fish!

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends. There’s ample seating and plenty of TVs if you're looking to catch some sports. The house-made salsa that accompanies the chips is absolutely delicious! The menu offers a great selection of appetizers and a variety of burgers made with Angus beef. Our server, Marco, was very friendly and attentive. Plus, there's a charming little shop where you can buy gifts. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

You know those moments in life where you realize you're right where you're supposed to be? We had one of those moments by stumbling upon the Lakeside Bar and Grill last night! We finally got a night to celebrate and decided last minute to give thisrestaurant a try. We honestly had no idea what to expect but as we entered we were delighted to see a live band! We got thetable closest to the band and had an unforgettable experience! Michael Nitro was there performing with his buddy Charly and hewas so entertaining. It was basically a comedy show with good music and I recommend everyone to go see him. We also ordered thesteak dinner and the Chipotle burger and both were so delicious! You can tell the chefs pride themselves on their work just bythe way the food tastes. Our server Marco was also great even with us sitting right next to the music he was able to hear us andeverything came out exactly how we ordered it. We loved our night and are so happy and thankful for the people who made itunforgettable! ?

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! We enjoy their delicious food and appreciate that they’re dog-friendly while always airing the games on TV. The atmosphere is lovely, and the patio is very comfortable. It's definitely one of our favorite places to visit!
