Hotpot For Days - Peoria

Don’t come here for the service come here for the food. The broths have tons of flavor. The dipping sauce is amazing and the ingredients are always fresh. We are regulars so the owner/server knows us is always very nice but she means business and you do have to flag her down for stuff but the food is amazing. She mentioned they will be adding more a la carte items soon. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try.

So the server doesn’t come around every five seconds to see how you’re doing. It’s not hard to raise your finger to get their attention and ask for what you need. The food was delicious. The broth has so much flavor (had pork, beef, and tomyum broths). The brisket was my favorite. I’ll be coming back for sure. The server was not rude at all by the way.

I went last night and added some shrimp to my bowl. After eating 1 shrimp I knew there was something wrong with them and did not eat the rest. An hour and a half later I was throwing up and have been having symptoms of food poisoning.

This is the worst hot pot restaurant I have experienced. I don’t know if the proprietress did it on purpose. I didn’t add anything when I ran out of food and soup. I didn’t feel very willing to ask her to add something. Is it okay to ask for service? Service, just wish we were gone soon.....
