Heidi's Brooklyn Deli - Peoria

Nice spot my wife found when we were on that side of town. The sandwich was delicious. Their bread is fresh baked every day and it was good! They also have breakfast until 11am and soup every day. Great place to get a fresh sandwich that's not your usual sandwich shop.

Not only do I personally think they have the BEST sandwhiches around but I had the absolute best experience. I dont know who the man helping us was, maybe hes the owner? Or a worker? But he was the most nicest human I have ever met. I came in with my husband and 2 kids because I had dreamt of a sandwhich from them (due to where we live and the hours theyre open its hard for me to get in but today we were in the area and I NEEDED to stop by) I initially only ordered 2 sandwhiches and he treated my kids with drinks and treats and was so genuine it warmed my heart. Not only did they love the french dip, but my husband did too. He had said He never wanted a french dip again because the last 5 places made him disappointed to ever try again and Heidi's regained his trust in French Dips again! And the club is SO delicious. Thank you again to the man who made our sandwhiches and showed the best customer service I have ever seen. Even if for some reason the food was gross (which WAS NOT) the service alone would make me come back. ?

One of those days we were out early and wanted a bagel? We pulled up and it was empty at 9:30a? We walked in nice place and ordered 2 bagels but they only had 4 types bagels and of those types they only had one left of the two choices! It was empty and had only been open 1/2 hour.. How does a deli only have one bagel left? Frustrated we ordered a veggie sandwich on a plan bagel It was OK not great but had some type of special sauce which was super spicy just didn?t fit in To make matters worse the employees seems out out not friendly and no help My guess it?s the reason a deli is empty Wanted it to be cool but definitely hard pass on returning

Amazing breads, fresh cut meats, and of course amazing selection of good sandwiches. Been here 5 plus times and always left with a great sandwich. Heidi club with bacon is a classic on French bread.

The service is amazing the guy that owns it is awesome and makes you feel like you're a good friend every time you go in. The food is absolutely delicious and I've tried various things off the menu
