Cracked Pepper - Peoria

Just got several dozen boxed lunches delivered to my employer . My BLT was likely made yesterday . Stale bread and wilting lettuce. Disappointing and not typical for this place .

Our wedding venue gave us a list of caterers to choose from and Joe and his team came highly recommended by peers. While initially the price was a little higher than what we were planning to spend, what we got was sooooo much more. The food was out of this world and Joe's attention to detail was unmatched. We did not have to worry about cheap displays for our food, he dressed everything up with beautiful arrangements, all part of the package! Our dinner included flank steak,

Cracked pepper catered our wedding and was amazing! Marla worked with my mom and I deligently to make sure everything was perfect! I also asked if they could do a few Serbian dishes for my husband's side and they were great at personalizing our requests! so many of our guests could not stop talking about the food and cupcakes! Cracked Pepper is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend booking them for any wedding

This review is for the location on Glen. Tried the restaurant out the other day for an early dinner with my aunties. Ordering is done from a posted menu when you arrive. Payment is made there as well, and you are given a restaurant pager for when your order is up. Also, there really isn't a dinner menu per se just the same selections as lunch. The place is has a nice, open feeling with decent decor. The service was prompt and courteous, with our dinners delivered to the table because we were just about the only ones there. Portions were ample, however the food quality was only above average (chicken salad light and tasty, bbq brisket on the greasy side, beef stroganoff fairly heavy and bland). They don't have a liquor license yet. Will be back when they do and see how a beer or two affects my rating.
