The Cellar Wine Bar and Kitchen

Drove from Calgary to Penticton and after the long Haul I was tired and very hungry, so I asked my son to find us a restaurant that had a good steak dinner. He met me in the basement and I ordered the 10 ounces of Sirloin with crispy onions and a blue cheese butter. It came with fresh seasonal vegetables grown in their own garden and delicious potatoes. The steak came on the table on a dazzling skill with blue cheese butter, which burned under it. When I cut it, he Steak I was able to drop the butter over every bite .. simply amazing! Every bite was more spectacular than the previous one! My son ordered the Mousakka dinner and it was also very tasty and a very generous portion. He was not able to finish his meal and had to take it home. The ambience of the place is very beautiful and contemporary and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back next time I am in Penticton

Excellent restaurant. The Mediterranean and Greek dishes are truly authentic. We were a few times for lunch and dinner, never disappointed. The Sockeye salmon in the 007 sandwich or the Mumbai salad is amazingly so fresh and perfectly cooked. Chicken and Brie Sandwich is another favorite. Dinner includes both lamb dishes and Cioppino. Seafoods here are trustworthy and delicious. Good wine selection and very fair menu. Our server Heidi was gracious and attentive. Tim also served us and he is always excellent, tireless and always has a wonderful smile to go with his top notch service. We give him a full 2 thumbs up

Wonderful restaurant! Delicious, authentic food. Ceasar salad is so well dressed with full leaf, anchovies and garlic and perfectly. Lamb hacking and kartoffels were delicate, smooth and very tasteful. Loved the seafood fatuccine in a tomato sauce. Lots of seafood. Very well balanced drinks were generous and never shortened to the alcohol. Service was professional and attentive. Very well done! Go to the top of my favorite list!!

Unbelievable. Greek salad was delicious. I had the lamb aprons listed among the starters. With the salad it made a perfect meal. I had rarely asked for medium. They were well done, but it didn't matter because they were very tender. Demi glace was perfect with the mash potatoes. Service was also excellent.

The family and I stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed! We had the bourbon burger and the wrap, both were super tasty. The restaurant has a really nice feel to it and the waiter who served us was excellent. We will be back for more of those awesome burgers!
