One of the best and most authentic Indian food I had in Pensacola. Very funny and friendly environment. Nice to eat and fun. Amazing customer service! Very recommended
This was our second time eating at Spice Spirits. Our first time was pre-Covid when they had a lunch buffet. The owner told us the buffet should restart in a month or so. From the outside, the restaurant is unassuming, but it's very tastefully decorated inside and is very clean, including the bathrooms. I ordered spicy vegetable Vindaloo. My dish was a sizable portion, loaded with vegetables, and I took half home for a second meal later. My husband ordered mild chicken Tika Masala which I also tasted. Even though I prefer spicy food, his meal was also delicious, not bland at all. The meals came with a large amount of white rice, but we also ordered garlic Naan, and it was yummy. Don't skip on the Naan! Our total bill was $40 before a tip. We didn't order drinks, but they do serve beer and have a full bar. We received wonderful service, and although it wasn't a cheap lunch, it was worth it, and we will go back. You should too!
Not recommended! They can go there for their Roti, which is soft and good (if small), but nothing else. The owner is very friendly and nice, but the food is waiting. The owner has cooked everything himself (probably they are only little staff), but the food comes well. We ordered Samosa, Dal and Windshieldwishmakhni. Samosa was very oily and tasted as if the potato had gone bad or it was boiled 2 days ago, Paneer was too sweet. The simplest as Dal was oily and had uncooked spices, which was just a branch. (Because they were close) The order took too much time to come, and then it wasn't good. They gave us free Mango Lassi because the Dal was too sharp.
Friendly service. That's a diner set, so don't you go if you're in the hurry. Food comes in courses. He asked how spicy I wanted my food, and I just told him enough to burn something. That's quite subjective, but he put it to the point. I ordered garlic naan and buttered chicken and we shared samosas at the table. The Samosas had a nice diving sauce. Servings are great. I took something home and had it the next day for lunch There was a court at the table that wasn't very good. I had Tandoori in many other places and her was just not so great. I will definitely come back
