La Hacienda - Pensacola

First and foremost, this restaurant does not have a liquor license. What kind of respectable Mexican eatery avoids serving a steady supply of tequila and margaritas? The food was just okay. I've dined at numerous Mexican restaurants, but the flavors here were quite bland. I ordered the fish or shrimp taco meal for $15.95 and inquired if I could get two fish tacos and one shrimp taco, but was told that wasn’t possible. The meal came with salad, rice, and pico de gallo. When I requested sour cream, it was brought out quickly, but I later saw it added to my bill for an extra $1.35! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but based on my experience, I would rate this place a disappointing 2.5 out of 5.

The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I do have a suggestion: you should consider offering a drink selection beyond just soda and tea. A margarita would have been a perfect addition.

Unfortunately, our dinner experience was not enjoyable. Our server seemed distracted and more focused on chatting with friends than on their responsibilities. My wife's appetizer was overlooked and arrived after her duck. The steak she ordered was overcooked and quite thin. Most of the dishes lacked flavor as well. My soup was decent, but I had to add salt and hot sauce to give it some taste. I likely won't return, as there are so many outstanding Mexican restaurants in the area.

2 28 2022: ordered to go 1 Cali Chicken Burrito. Sa in the restaurant. Beautiful decor and very clean place. Service People wear clean white long sleeve button up shirts very professional looking and courteous greetings. 4 12 2022: My wife treated me for dinner and let me get the place. Here we are my favorite combination N and Hers cheese Enchiladas. 5 12 2022: back to dinner 8 4 22: dinner tonight. My Combo N just seems to burn a problem. My wife's food was good and my taco was good. I'm sorry, not a pick, but a good service.

First time here. Well when you walk into the door they immediately greet you. Very friendly staff. It has a very colorful mexican them with a colorful water fountain in the middle. I ordered the Fajita Texana. Came out hot and sizzling. Very good. It also came with rice and beans and sour cream and guacamole. Very filling. My coworker ordered the chimichanga and chili relleno. He liked it as well. It wasn't that pack around 5pm. It also seems like they have regulars there by the way the customer enter and how they interact with the staff. Very friendly. Like a Cheers kind of vibe. I would recommend it.
