El Agave Mexican - Pensacola

For 4 years we have visited every time as a family in Pensacola, which is our way to authentic Mexican restaurant! But today this has changed completely. The servers and the service were bad and rude. We never go back. When we came in, we got mold mushrooms to order. We ordered our drinks and got our chips on the way never asked about the chips that are normal. But I wanted to be a cuddly guacamole pick dip. I asked and explained. What they brought was not what I told them and the server was rude. We had already ordered cheese and chips and drinks. We asked for tickets and accused us for salsa and chips that are always free. If the server hadn't been rude, we could have stayed. We covered the check and left. They even said they knew and remembered us. So why service was terrible no idea, but we'll never be back.

We love it here. We were often and always have a consistently good experience. The food is good, the prices are fair and the service is friendly and fantastic. It's our Mexican restaurant.

This place is always good. The staff has been awesome every time we go and the food consistently is great. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. The owner is a hard working individual who is right there with her staff making sure things are taken care of. Great little local mom and pop place.

4.5 for the food, but 5+ for the outstanding service. I love finding great food at hole in the wall restaurants, El Agave is amongst the best. This is not just a mom pop restaurant, it is a family enterprise. Definitely worth repeat visits.

Best Mexican cuisine in Pensacola! The prices are large and the portions are simply phenomenal!!! All the food before my Hubby was still under $15!!!! His meal makes my delicious? Burrito look small compared? If you want mexican, this is the place!!
