The cashier gave me a refund, but argued with me that the chicken was not undercooked, that it was always cooked and nobody complained in 70 years.... I was sick a few hours after, and the only thing I had eaten all day was my meal.
I normally have no issues with this place, but the woman working tonight was rude on the phone when I placed my order. I had to repeat it several times. I ordered 2 dinners not combos. When I came to pick it up she was on the phone the whole time speaking like it was a personal call. She was very short and rude at that time as well. The couple in front of me also had the same issue with ordering dinner portions vs. the combo. I have never had a problem when the regular guy is working.
Not bad for Pensacola. Lo Mein here used to be bad and given out in the rectangular plastic containers but now they give it in the white large box containers which is MUCH better. Love getting a large pork lo mein from here. General Tso chicken is pretty good. Singapore rice noodles are ok. A little too much spice flavor and not enough savory.
Tried Chen?s Kitchen because our usual place was closed. A very pleasant surprise they did not have vegetable soup on list however they made it for me and they kicked it up to spicy for me as well ? also got shrimp rolls that had the best flavor I?ve every had; very fresh! And not to forget the cream cheese angles? the best taste (chive I believe) ??.
This restaurant is a must-try! I always make a point to visit when I'm in town, and I have never been disappointed. The crab rangoons are some of the best I've ever had.
