Express Shish Kabab - Pennsauken

The food was quite tasty, but I have to admit it's definitely overpriced considering the portion sizes. Additionally, our order was mixed up in two ways: we received the wrong sauce and didn't get the side salad we requested. While we did enjoy the meal, we probably won't be returning due to the portion issues.

I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, kufta, falafel, and a side of fries. Unfortunately, the fries were undercooked, which was my oversight. However, everything else was outstanding! The chicken was tender, full of flavor, and incredibly moist. The rice was well-seasoned, and the falafel had a perfect crispiness. The kufta was moist and flavorful, avoiding any dryness that I've experienced elsewhere, and the portion sizes were quite generous. The sauces were heavenly, and I can confidently say I will be making this restaurant a regular spot. It would be a shame to lose such a unique local gem just because it isn’t well-known. Why settle for another chain restaurant when places like this are out there? I highly encourage everyone to give it a try and share your experiences!

The food is consistently delicious. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The chicken was a bit underseasoned during my last visit, but that's not typical for them, so I'm still giving it a 5-star rating. Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant.

As for vegetarian options, the falafel is always so tasty!

I had a fantastic dinner last night from Express. The meat was perfectly grilled, full of flavor and incredibly juicy. The rice was well-seasoned, and the hot sauce added a delightful tang. I will definitely be back!
