I really enjoy visiting Penn Queen Diner; their food is outstanding. The waitstaff are attentive and ensure that the dishes are served while they're still hot. I've had several conversations with the owner, and she is very friendly.

Old inspection Station by Courier Post office is. (where my late beloved brother in law had a position at for Many years. A super guy too! Miss him a LOT.
Used to be a regular until it changed ownership. Just not the same. Last week a sign was on door saying close at 4pm all week. The reason: Cook that makes the sauces was on vacation and no one else has been trained, smh. Chairs stacked in dining area. Hostess, who has been there for years looked miserable. I guess the twin brothers grew tired of running the place. Time to hang up the aprons and turn out the lights.
Our waiter, Christine, completely disregarded our presence while we were waiting for our order. There were only three of us in the restaurant, and when a white couple walked in, she ignored us entirely. I tried to get her attention by calling her name and waving my hand, but she didn't respond. Instead, she sat down and chatted with the couple as if we didn’t even exist. This was by far the worst service I have ever encountered. The restaurant either needs to shut down or find new owners who actually care about customers of all backgrounds. I stand by my words; if the truth hurts, that's just how it is. Save yourself the trouble—do not visit this place. The owner also showed a lack of compassion for customers who support the business.
