Cava - Penn Wynne

Cava is essentially the better quality version of chipotle for greek mediterranean food. Fast, efficient, and friendly staff. Inside it's bustling during rush hour. there is seating indoors and outdoors. If you need a quick lunch cava is the place.

Kind of like a Mediterranean Chipotle with delicious dishes. I'm a lamb lover and the one time I was there they had two distinct lamb entrees , so I was in heaven. The servers were extremely friendly and informative, explaining each dish. The was one cute server who whenever she came out of the kitchen she was clearly chewing on something, so I asked her what she was snacking on. She got this sheepish look on her face and said it was one of the lamb entrees......I said I'll have what she's eating!! Trust me, the staff is very selective. The premises are clean with plenty of seating. I look forward to a return visit.

The food was pretty good, despite them giving me slightly burnt pita chips. Customer service was okay.

Confrontational attitude and service when I politely asked for 1 more scoop of hummus. Server calmed down at the end and suggested crispy potato sticks. Paid $22 for rice bowl with extra braised lamb+avocado after getting audited for my 3/3 hummus toppings.

I have been to this restaurant frequently and have never had a bad meal. The clean and friendly atmosphere is what has me coming back. I have also gotten take out and the service was top notch!
