Old Village Grille - Penn Hills

An absolute jewel! Village Grille is an absolute jewel. Here are some pizza shops that make decent gyros and I often ordered them. Then, a few years ago, my family decided to try this new Village Grille place and we ordered a huge gyro dinner! The portions were amazingly large, you usually land with a bunch of extra lamb slices on your plate that you can eat when the rest of the gyro is gone. There is so much lamb on every gyroscope, a single gyroscope is large enough to be a whole meal and will not fill the hardest people. It has a very traditional American-Greek gyro taste and is very, very tasteful. I always want to order from them, and if we actually get dinner from them, it's always an absolute treat. Good gyro sauce and fresh tomatoes and onion as well, and they are also generously cut. If nothing else, you really get a lot of food for your money, but I think most will be satisfied with the quality and taste as much as the price and portions.

Delicious fresh food, great value, excellent customer service. I was so happy to see a Greek restaurant moving into Penn Hills and they have surpassed my expectations. Everything we've tried so far has been delicious.
