Had 2 hot lovely Galào coffees. 1 homemade veggie soup, cheese ham toastie all very nice for €6.70. So very good prices. In a nice location by the gardens. Friendly staff.

Thé café has a pleasant terrace, we have been a few times for coffee but this time we had lunch. They do not cook much on site so for example the pizzas are frozen ones. Our table had burger, salads and pizzas all was...fine if a little over priced for the quality you get

I was surprised to see recent bad reviews of this restaurant as we really enjoyed our lunch here yesterday. True, the service isn't the fastest but when we arrived there was only one waitress working and we could see she was rushed off her feet...and doing her best. We ordered burgers and chips and were quite taken aback at the large portion size considering the low cost. Yes, the chips are of the frozen variety but they were hot and tasty. Our burgers were delicious and plenty of mayonnaise was supplied. Our smiling waitress even returned with extra serviettes should we need them. Our bill came to euros, which included two beers, and we left feeling extremely full and very pleased to have stumbled on this little establishment

I knew this was not the best place from previous experiences but Brismar had no tables and I just wanted a toast and Ucal, what could go wrong... everything! Waited to get the order, had to repeat it times, waited way too long and...had to go inside with the dog ! to pay after waiting minutes for someone to bring the bill. Waited minutes to get but no way I was going to leave a cent to those people. All this time, there was a family, seating beside me, waiting to order..
