Sainsbury's - Pendle

I visited the cafe in the shop yesterday and it was absolutely awful! Nothing is made fresh, there are no cooked meals, only sandwiches that have to be heated up.

Don't bother coming here. The menu only offers mediocre hot sandwiches. My granddaughter's ham sandwich was subpar and the coffee was terrible. I wouldn't even give this place a star if I could.

Very basic tasteless food and very slow service. Give it a try every few weeks then wonder why I’ve come back. So many good places in Colne much better than this!

Met up with the ageing parents here they go a lot as it is one of their favourite places for a snack, niece and her children like taking them there. The coffee is the normal standard type of coffees and is of a reasonable...quality and the toasted currant teacakes are really nice. Father likes the fish and chips particularly. It can get quite full at dinner time so you need to choose your times carefully, but it is very handy because of course it is inside the supermarket. It also seems to be a favourite parking place for more infirm partners while the other goes and does the shopping.

Had a late start the other day and needed a few bits, so called in for those and then popped in for a breakfast. Not the fastest service on the planet, but it didn't take too long, and as long as its nice and hot...when it comes that's fine. Was a lovely fry up and with the large expanse of glass the place was nice and airy. A nice experience and will return.
