Red Lion Inn - Penderyn

We came to the red lions completely randomly, have visited the distillery near and then have to eat a Google search somewhere. we came in the middle of the service for Sunday dinner, without reservation and a big dog in the tow. They went out of the way to find a table for us as long as we didn't have to wait. and young, was worth eating, waiting for that! the appetizers and puddings on the menu sound amazing so that we were eating a full 3-course Sunday (yes) that was all as good as it looked. we recommend the red lion cordially when they are in the region penderyn, and we will certainly be back when we are ever close again!

Cute place, best lamb I ever had the best service! the more likely are also quite ingenious. love it and will hope to be back!

Fantastic little pub with top notch food. my buddy and I wondered the hill after a visit in the penderyn distillery. we have set up a camp in the red lion in the afternoon and booked a table for dinner in the evening. the pub had a beautiful atmosphere, roaring fire and beautiful selection of beers. we were both really impressed by the food and not too bad price wise. will definitely be back to visit if we are in the opposite.

Dinner for two adults and two children. It was a wonderful meal with a creative menu and great wine list. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was excellent, attentive and efficient. Portions were generous and tasty. Will be back.

Absolute gem of a pub..... variety of real ales and mulled wines and ciders......great atmosphere and accommodating staff.....we walked the ramblers waterfall's route and returned to be met by a real log fire......we will return
