The Pier And The Pebble Cafe - Penarth

It's definitely worth a visit when you're in Cardiff. I've been to the city numerous times for work, but this was my first time actually exploring it. It was absolutely wonderful! Although it was a bit cloudy, overall the experience was great. I really enjoyed my time at the pier. Just keep in mind that I might be a bit biased since I grew up in the mountains and have a special fondness for being near water.

Penarth Pier is absolutely stunning, and the fact that entry is free makes it a wonderful place to enjoy a walk along its beautiful historical wooden platform. The views are incredible, whether you're on the flat stone or the steep sections, especially when the tide is high. Even when it’s chilly outside, you can still visit the beach and admire the old rustic metal structures that support the pier.

This restaurant is a lovely and peaceful spot to unwind. You can purchase freshly cooked food right on the pier, and there's a charming little candy shop that has been around since the 1930s. Definitely worth a visit—it's fantastic! The scenery is stunning, and the park across from the pier is equally delightful. Overall, Penarth was a wonderful experience.

I’ve fallen in love with this place. I’ve been multiple times, and the feeling when you’re walking through it… amazing. The views are fabulous also, and the fish and chips by the pier are fantastic!
