New Hedges Tavern - Pembrokeshire

This pub serves good food and has a dog-friendly area. We were there on their last weekend for serving food so the menu was limited but it was still very good quality and tasty. Portions were generous.

The food was delicious, The atmosphere cosy, And the staff were lovely . 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at a restaurant close to our home. We opted for fish and vegetarian dishes, but there wasn't a wide selection available. We ended up ordering fish cakes with chips and chili sauce. The dish was delicious and just the right amount of food.

What started out as a lovely family afternoon watching the rugby was ruined by one staff member being extremely rude to my fiancé. With a threat to be kicked out. We had been stood and sat in the same place for more than 2 hours clearly before this staff member started her shift. She very rudely told him to move. Clearly only a problem for her not other staff members. This then resulted in her standing at the pass eyeballing myself . The entire time we were at that location I was opening and closing the door for both staff and other customers who were extremely grateful as their hands were full. I will never step foot in there again. This was the second time a staff member has been rude to a member of my family. Staff training on customer service is definitely needed that’s for sure.

I had the pleasure of spending a lovely week in Pembrokshire with my partner and his children. We encountered superb service everywhere we went except here. The man behind the bar made it clear from the beginning that we weren’t welcome. He was extremely rude. The premises were shabby, and could do with a complete refurb. Avoid at all costs!
