Lisa's At Telpyn Shooting Ground

During our holiday i wanted to introduce the family to shooting a shotgun as they only shot airrifles before and it is near impossible to do it in the Netherlands (only laser skeet shooting). A Welsh friend booked for us and we had a blast. Rob was a great teacher and storyteller who did an excellent job at putting everyone at ease and is a prime example of 'don 't judge a book by its cover '. Even my 15 year old daughter, who didn 't want to shoot at first, was destroying clay pigeons in no time. He also made sure everything went safely. Our party of 5 shot 125 shells which cost us only £20 per person, very affordable. We will definately return next time we visit Wales.

Lovely ground. We visited the area on holiday and they were not scheduled to be open during our stay but on contacting the owner he said come on down and I'll open up for you. Upon meeting us and satisfying himself that we were decent sorts he showed us how to operate the traps, told us the cost per round then simply said have a nice morning gents, tea and coffee etc are in the clubhouse, leave your money on the counter when you leave. Then on trust he simply left us to it, clubhouse open, no one around and we had a great morning shooting with beautiful weather and stunning views over the bay. We are returning to the area next summer and will definately be back.

Popped in to the best restaurant in Wales again for Sunday lunch. It was better than ever. I'm still full and it's 10:00pm. Excellent food, great service, lovely people and great views. Simply perfect.

Highly recommended, located in a portacabin so not very big so booking recommended, the nearest thing to home cooking in South Pembroke. Sunday lunches are superb with a great menu selection, something for everyone.

Went here last year. And just returned again for Sunday lunch as staying close. What can you say. Food is outstanding I had the lamb Sunday roast . Dont give this place a miss 5
