Sumo Sushi & Grill - Pembroke

Super busy place, Ann is awesome but was only lady working. Food was average and a little pricy. Service was ok but majorly under staffed.

We went in for dinner and were asked right away if we were in a rush as the owner was alone. We decided to stay. The owner was very nice; however, she was run off her feet as the place was so busy. You could tell everything was hand made and made to order. Overall the food was good. The price is about on par with other places I've been to. We didn't put in any further orders past the first just because we felt bad for how busy she truly was.

Food is amazing, so much selection and ALWAYS freshly handmade. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. Everytime I'm in the area I make a point of stopping by for my sushi fix!

My colleague and I were passing through Pembroke and decided to check out Sumo Sushi. I am pleased to say that their staff went above and beyond food preparation and customer service. I am very please with how fresh everything was and how friendly the staff is and will most definitely be coming back! If you are wondering where to eat tonight then you don't have to keep looking. Enjoy!

Annie is an amazing owner, and waitress! She does a lot by herself, rarely has any help. She's so funny. Definitely worth the money, as it's not a cheap visit.
