Johnny's Grill - Pembroke

That's a great mom pop restaurant! Drive thru could take a little longer than sitting inside and eating, but any waiting you have here is absolutely worth it! The food is 10/10!!

I went into the lobby to checkout the spot. The place looked clean, the waitress was writing the menu on the dry erase board. It took her at least 10 mins to finish the board, then she came over to serve me. I think there customer service could be better. As for the food... the burger was made fresh to order so that took about 15-20 mins (I'll wait for a good burger) but the fries where cold and over cooked. I ordered a 32oz Sprite, but got mostly ice ?. Then there was the lemon cake. It looked good, but there a few mushy spots in the cake that made me not eat it. Also, my ticket was around $17-$20. Although, the burger was good, I feel like I spent too much money to receive poor customer service and not eat most of my food. Hopefully, they'll fix these issues before I go back.

Johnnys moved to the eastern part of the city. Just fit pharmacy when you head towards Savannah on US 280. I ordered fish with French fries and tea. I also ordered Jalapeno Poppers. They offered sauce for fish and gave Ranch Dressing for Poppers. The tables were covered with what looked like butcher paper, which was changed according to every customer. It was clean and staff very helpful. I definitely liked the interior of the plant. They have limited hours on Sunday.

Every thing about this place except the building is garbage. Order 2 grilled chicken sandwhiches and two salad mashed potatoes cabbage. The mashed potatoes are probably out of a instant pack, the gravy was the consistency of jelly, the fries have been in the warmer for hours id bet. The salads were soggy, the ranch was watery, the chicken was BOILED. Not a single thing even had a pinch of salt.

Excellent small business! Wide variety of menu items but we usually visit on Friday nights for their low country boil or fried shrimp! YUM YUM! Drop in for a visit you won't be disappointed! The portion sizes are amazing!
