Mashie's Pub Eatery - Pekin

I thought the food we had was good overall, but we ordered the catfish dinner and found the portions to be quite small. I've paid the same price at other places and received two small catfish for the same amount. At my weight of 130 pounds, I could have easily eaten four of these! However, the restaurant itself is beautiful and most patrons seem to enjoy the food.

The food took a while to arrive, but they had a large table and only one chef, which contributed to the delay. However, the food itself was quite good. The staff were helpful and polite. The dining room was a bit chilly, but the beer was cold and refreshing, which is definitely a plus.

I tried the Flying Hawaiian burger, and it was fantastic! The burger was delicious, and my waiter was excellent. However, I did notice that it took a full 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We were the only ones dining at that time, so I was a bit surprised by the wait. Fortunately, we weren't in a rush, so it didn't bother us. Overall, everything was great!

The food was hot enough. Hamburger was great salads were good and fresh soups were hot and the service was great. have they been coming back?

Best tenderloins I have ever eaten! They say they brine it but the taste is out of this world.
