I was not a fan of the daily special, but my friends dishes were so good you would lick the plate. It was more than enough, even for 5 big eating men. The Kitchen is typical alpine.ServiceThe girls were so friendly. I would go back only to be serviced like that again. They were smiling all the time (even during busy times). Orders and price were correct. I complimentend them on the spot.
Very nice lunch. Cosy rustic interior, beautiful steak tartare and tartiflette. Nice wine friendly staff, just a little mistake on the bill , but I would definitely go back. Thank you.
Regular stop off while skiing Les Arc. Hot chocolate is best on mountain - big bowls, chantilly cream, hot and creamy and good value by skiing standards. Staff in bar also very friendly and great snugg there too if weather not at its best.
Hot choc is great but one day we got the bowls and one day plastic glasses so always ask for a bowlSelf serve restaurant serves good food but queue moves very very slowly - we had burgers (the marcel) which were excellent But try to get there early or come late as they can't cope at peak times
This was our 'go to' mountain restaurant of the ski holiday in Les Arcs. It definitely has the best, biggest, most delicious hot chocolate on the mountain (look at the photos taken by others). Known to us as the 'Stripey Cow' - because of the stripey cow sculpture outside, the style of the place is cosy and quirky, especially the downstairs 'snug'. We didn't eat here but it looked good and was very busy. It's located fairly high on the mountain above Peisey Vallandry. To get to it, take the Derby chair lift and ski down Renard (blue) or head up the Pleisey chair lift when you get off the Vanoise Express and ski down and across the open area (blue).
