Clara's Deli - Peekskill

Daily cooked fresh food, from the South American influenced dishes at the hot bar to standard sandwiches and specialties, Clara and her crew will welcome you. I call it Mama's kitchen, because there's always something warm to eat or she's fast to offer you a sandwich or anything you want. A plus is that she never overwhelms, so if she runs out of something on the hot bar, it's out. This means fresher food for you.

I ordered an egg burrito for breakfast and later on the day, a roast beef wedge sandwich for lunch. The Burrito was delicious, just the right amount of vegetables and cheese. The sandwich roll was fresh, the salad and the tomatoes, where both fresh and the roast beef were cut thin and gave them a generous part. In summary, both articles where delicious and prices are very reasonable. I'm a fan of Clare.

We ate here every day while working at Wheelabrator, nice people, good food and decent prices. You can walk from the HI Express as well.
