Smashburger - Pearland

We have been coming to this burger restaurant for the past two years, and my son absolutely loves their burgers. Typically, the service has been good, but today was a different story. My husband ordered two burgers and a fried chicken wing, but we ended up waiting an entire hour just to place our order. We understand that weekend nights can be busy, but an hour is excessive! He asked for updates three times during that hour, but nobody provided any information. By the end of the hour, there were hardly any customers in the restaurant, and he could see the chicken wings sitting on the counter. After waiting another ten minutes, no one came to package them up. To top it off, there wasn't even an apology for the long wait. Don't you think that's unacceptable? We might reconsider coming back.

I tried the spicy chicken sandwich and it was super dry. Not moist at all. The spice level is okay. My kid enjoyed the regular double burger though and the oreo shake.

My husband and his parents enjoyed it. I personally like the chicken w/ salad that i ordered as im not a big fan of burgers.

The service was friendly and quick. The Smash-Fries were fresh and tasty! The Smashburger was decent, but I expected the bun to be better. It wasn’t as flavorful or soft as I would have liked. Honestly, I’m not sure they even toasted it, and I miss the variety of bread options they used to offer. I feel like there’s been a change in quality since they were acquired, and they’re not as good as they used to be, but it’s still a solid choice for Burger-Gang.

My child really enjoys the burger here. It's a bit pricier than what you'd find at large chain restaurants.
