Great atmosphere! Good food and friendly wait staff. Be prepared to wait if you go at any peak times. If you do have to wait, the old country store can offer something to occupy your mind or create a conversation. If not careful, you may not be able to resist the urge to impulse buy!

Not sure what the issue was but we arrived on Saturday night 5/15 at 9p. Although there were hardly any seats filled we were told it would be a 40m wait !!! . After about 20m our group of 5 was seated. Drinks were ordered, then upon the server 's return, we place our orders ~9:30p . Biscuits cornbread were delayed until the food was delivered 20m after we ordered 9:50p . Most of the food was lukewarm the gravy was stiff . The server rarely returned to assist. Simply amazing that this restaurant is still in business if this is typical. BTW, if Cracker Barrels cannot get their stuff together, we 'll be one of many families that will simply avoid the restaurants altogether.

I love cracker barrel breakfast especially when the fire goes. I always like to look at the goods while waiting. It is better to eat there than pick up so that your order can be corrected as needed. Take out that we were recently disappointed. The food wasn't as fresh as expected.
