Osteria Di Mare - Peachtree Corners

Our first visit was fantastic. we returned shortly after our first visit, the second visit was not almost as good. the service was very slow and the steaks were well overcooked. because the service was so slow, we thought it was not worth waiting for another steak. months later, we thought we would give him another chance. we were so disappointed when the service was even worse than the last time. salat came before the appetizer. brot arrived without a bread plate. it took 1.5 hours between our arrival and delivery of our order salad and appetizer. after approx. 2 hours our main courses arrived. the chicken parmesan was hard and overcooked. the server took away our utensils with the appetizers, so we had to wait a few minutes until he returns more. there was more, but I think the reading that, getting the point. we never go back.

The restaurant was closed for renovations when we arrived there. I think they should have been aware of this and have not accepted my reservation.

We arrived to find a fixed price menu that was not advertised on the website. We bought a decent bottle of wine and that was the best thing we had. The food was fair, the portions small, the presentation terrible and the service slow as they were overwhelmed. Not until we arrived did we find out that the management had changed and it was no longer a fine dining restaurant a;though they charged prices of a fine dining restaurant. We paid approximately $200 for a meal that should have cost no more than $90 for two people.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was fresh and delicious, impressing even my Italian friend. Our waitress Monica was attentive and personable, making us feel like family. I am grateful for this lovely dining opportunity close to home. No need to go all the way to the ice ladder, Brookhaven, or Midtown when you have this gem nearby.

I can't wait to try everything at this restaurant! Everything I've heard about it is wonderful. If you haven't tried their salted caramel ice cream yet, you're missing out on a delicious treat!
