California Pizza Kitchen At Flatiron

We ordered three pizzas, pasta, and two appetizers. Unfortunately, the appetizers were rather bland and lacking in flavor. Our pizzas took a long time to arrive and were served cold. When we asked to have them reheated, they came back with burnt crusts. After waiting for an hour, they finally offered to remake the pizzas for us.

We tried to order the avocado club egg rolls, but our waitress told us they were not available. Instead, we decided to go with the spinach artichoke dip served with tortilla chips, which was quite enjoyable. I also saw that the Santa Fe Pizza was no longer on the menu. When I asked about it, our waitress came back after some time to let us know it wasn't available either. So, I decided to go for something new: the Chicken Tequila Fettuccine. It was absolutely delightful!

I ordered takeout and had the carne asada pizza on a thin crust. I can't say enough about how delicious it was—just the right amount of spice! The service was outstanding and very quick as well!

We frequently dine at this restaurant and are thrilled that the patio is now open, allowing us to savor the lovely fall weather. We have been loyal customers for many years, although we paused our visits during the COVID pandemic because staffing shortages made it difficult to get a table promptly. However, we returned this month and had a delightful early dinner. Everything was delicious, and the service was exceptional! We look forward to coming back soon!

The staff was outstanding during my visit. It was my first time there, and I decided to try the BBQ Chicken pizza and the tomato soup. Both dishes were delightful and cooked impeccably. As soon as you walk in, you can see the whole kitchen team working together and smiling. I will definitely be coming back.
