9 of us had great meals. Everything from red snapper, crab cakes, steak, chili, and key lime pie tasted original and delicious. The owner and waitstaff were warm and welcoming. Everyone in our party gave it a thumbs up and we will definitely be back on our annual golf trip next year.

Can’t say enough about this family run local spot. Awesome food, really friendly people. Excellent value. Get one of the homemade cakes.....oh goodness.

On Valentine’s Day we dined here for the first time. Owner Greg Metcalfe is “hands-on”. Everything is fresh. As a result, by 7 pm, there were no peel-and-eat shrimp left! We ordered a New Zealand Pinot Grigio wine. Likewise, the two Pinot Grigio sections were sold out. The house Pinot grig was just fine. The fried green tomatoes and French onion soup were fabulous starters. Our main course, also well-prepared, was the featured steak Diane. We recommend Southern Comfort for casual dining.
